Rain falls on the windshield and spreads in a bright trajectory. Painted in layers and textured with thick and thin paint. This one in a series of "windshield paintings" is painterly, brushy, and slightly textured. It is painted on gallery wrapped linen over 1 1/2 inch deep stretchers, with color matched, hand painted edges, wired with finger friendly coated wire and ready for installation.
An unexpected, but welcome rain, as experienced from a place of comfort. My windshield paintings aim to capture these fleeting and intimate moments in time and reveal the serene center that can arise in the midst of nature’s turbulence.
