A heavy downpour smashes against the windshield distorting the scene ahead. Part of the "windshield series" this painting emphasizes some of the linear aspects of rain and water, as well as motion. It is painted on gallery wrapped linen, over 1 1/2 inch deep stretchers, with color matched, hand painted edges, wired with finger friendly coated wire and ready for installation.
Heavy rain experienced from a place of comfort. My windshield paintings aim to capture these fleeting and intimate moments in time and reveal the serene center that can arise in the midst of nature’s turbulence.
